The growing gentrification of national 'Gayborhoods' on the rise →

Gentrification is such a win lose situation. If you develop an area that has low property value it will rise after having the property assessed. Meaning you are going to be paying more for your property mmmmm inflation. This can be good in the means of $$$ yet this can be really bad for the people who can’t afford to rent or own the newly assessed property. It eventually kicks out the people who lived there from the get go. How can a local gov. go about practicing anti-gentrification?
